    New home screen

With the new firmware and integration of texting and social networks could there be a different home screen instead of the inbox that could list Inbox, Twitter, Facebook, Stream, Texts and then next to the list the number of new unread messages .

    Send e-mail shortcut

I'd like to use a shortcut for sending messages instead of using the scroll wheel.

    Faster navigation

It would be great to have either the same keys work in the menus (t for top, b for bottom) or assign a hot letter to each item so you could enter the menu and then press P to go straight to the Peek Manager instead of scrolling for example.

Another useful item would be combinations of existing special keys. For example shift works with the wheel to select multiple messages but shift and 'T' to select this message and everything above it or 'B' below it.

Lastly a key combination to restart the Peek instead of holding the power button and waiting and then holding it again. I have to restart my Peek several times a day and that would really save me some work.

Keep Capital Letters In E-mail Addresses

Google Voice can forward me text messages, but its a pain to reply since all the Capital letters in the reply address are made small case, so if you reply with the Peek now, your e-mail gets bounced instead of reaching the original sender.

    GPS

If peek had a GPS it could receive data such as places to eat or events. Imagine going geocashing and being able to pull up the data on the cash while in the woods! this would be huge.

Outgoing email address option under contacts

One a future release of the firmware would be a nice option to have the outgoing email addess field for you contacts so you don't accidently send someone an email from an address they might not know or you do not want them to have .

    Default outgoing email address

Instead of default the email address to the last message sent maybe there should be an option in a future firmware release to have it default to one of your 5 email accounts or the last message sent .

    Social features

I believe that the Peek should become a social device, and not just email. It should be a Peek with Twitter, Facebook, IM, and email apps. It should also have a camera, because the world is about seeing the other person. HTML email, and it should support Canada because we're right above you!

    CRASH less often

My peek device (sw ver 1.09.18) crashes. often. silently. The possible only indication is the reception indicator has a red 'x'. If I turn it off, and then back on, it will grunt a couple of times and then faithfully download all of the emails it had silently ignored for the previous few days. Somewhere you've got a stack issue or a state issue.

Peek Pronto support for other mail providers

Peek Pronto doesn't pick up messages from my mail server as quickly as it's advertised to. It takes 4 minutes.

    Web Browser

    Dearest Peek,
I pine after your sleek mobile email device. I deeply admire its pragmatic portability. But I'm gonna be straight with you, I need a web browser before I can switch.
    Sincerely,
    Prospective Peekster

    Micro SD support

I am very close to ditching my iphone email for Peek but only one thing stops me is no Micro SD support. Only reason i want to do that is be able to store attachment so i can send them later to who ever i want. I am constantly applying for jobs using my emails and only if i could store my resume on a SD card it would be great.

Don't delete emails until memory is full

This is driving me nuts - now it's deleting emails that are only a few days old and I still have tons of memory left. I am forced to move all emails from both my "sent" and "in" boxes to "saved" before turning my peek off.

    USB Connectivity

We could use the ability to connect our Peek to our PC to better view and edit email, and also to update contact list.

I'd be reselling these as remote data aquisition and control systems if we could access the txt messages and send txt messages from another device (PC/PLC/PIC) attached to the USB port. You would see a lot fewer messages from a machine than a person.

    USB Connector Needed

I have the upgraded Peek Pronto and can't figure out why this device doesn't use a standard usb connector for upgrades and the ability to charge from a computer or standard usb charger. After misplacing my charger I am unable to use my peek and have no backup connections. Just about any other device short of the iPod uses a USB connection.

    zoom pdf attatchments

I often get important pdf files attatched to my email, but i can't view the details as there is no zoom feature, hopefully this will be in the next upgrade.
seperate folders for each email account would help a lot.
i also think that a quick text like feature should be added with the ability to add/edit
