Peek Mobile Features and Enhancements

I just called them at 1 (877) 677-PEEK
and told the that I, as a new customer (today) am not happy at all with the advertising or signature and told them since I have a month to return the device, I will if they don't take care of it.
We all need to call them.

You are not providing a free service.
Please remove that peek signature ASAP.

Yes, this is not a free service. We are paying for this and it is wrong to be using us as advertising.

This, and the non-dedicated phone number thing - is specifically why I use a workaround.

The advertisement is only generating bad rep. You are turning off potential buyers who receive the txts as well as your current customers. You gain nothing from this but appear to be losing a few customers from it. You have nothing to lose by making the change.

Please remove the advertisment.. I want to Advertise my own business & website,, That looks very TACKY!!!

Just got lifetime with my new pronto so I won't be leaving anytime soon but the getpeek.com keeps me from convincing friend to getpeek.. everyone I text asks me about peek.. but for all the WRONG reasons.

This is just unexceptable! Isnt $20 amonth enough now I have to advertise for you aswell. I can see adding this to outgoing email because there is no char. limits. Then again theres an option to turn on and off signatures for email. Why is there not one for txt's aswell. I dont even use my peek anymore because of this. If it is not fixed by the end of Oct. Im done. Sad because I really like my peek.

I just bought a peek specifically for texting if it does indeed have this signature it will be the one and only month i ever use it sorry peek awesome product but that self advertising is unacceptable

I wanted to clarify a couple of things. First off, I'm really enjoying my Peek. The service and support has been better than almost any company I've ever done business with. They are quick, friendly, and easy to get a hold of. With that being said, the only issue I have is the peek.com addition to my signature. It bothers me that it's there and it bothers me that sometimes it splits my texts into two, which, in the long run, costs me money.

If I leave Peek, it will be for that reason alone.

I absolutely agree. www.getpeek.com needs to go away. When I receive texts from my daughter's Peek and scroll down on my G1 touch screen, I invariably launch my web browser for getpeek.com. It is extremely annoying - to the point where we may need to find another solution.
