"T" is already used to take you to the Top of a message, so some other letter, but absolutely, we need to be able to reply to texts EASILY without having to delete all the previous messages. We want a Peek with something closer to true texting.

I hate this - especially when I'm sending SMS - I don't need my friend to receive a copy of the sms he just sent me - and it's really annoying to have to delete everything just to reply to a text -

or at the very least be able to use the Compose New Emal (c) keyboard shortcut from the viewing email screen - not just the main menu

the easiest way I could see doing this is having another keyboard shortcut (like how you have R for reply or A for replay all) - you could have T for text. and when you clicked the T it would set up a reply and leave everything blank - sending you right to the subject area so you could type in your text.
