Currently Gmail contacts that contain no email address but do contain a phone number are not downloaded to Peke. Peek should download all contacts that contain a phone number and/or email address.

Using my on/off button at the top of the peek is a bit of a hassle.. it's too flat/recessed in relation to the parallel surface of the top of the device.. sometimes to get it to respond and be able to push it in I have to use a pencil point or other.. on the next round of hardware, have it stick up a bit and be responsive easily for greater control of the feature to start or stop the Peek... it does take a few minutes also when depressed to turn off on mine.

When you get up the weather map, you can't read the key for the colors at the bottom and what they stand for.. let us use the cursor on an image, and press a button or the scroll wheel, to magnify that part of the screen for greater viewing capability.

On my desktop computer, I can highlight an email in my inbox or sent items, scroll down, and using the shift key, highlight a whole stack of emails and then by pushing delete key, get rid of them all at once. When lots of emails come in, some I would like to delete, and do it fast, instead of having to click on each one singly to get them off the device, same as with old sent ones.. this may be a feature already on the device, but if it is, I'm unaware of that... seems a simple and logical shortcut to have on the device.. also we can scroll and backspace to delete, but not go forward, like with a simple delete key.. could a key and wheel combination do that also, or a new button?

somewhere in the settings i would like to be able to turn off/on the envelope LED completely to save even more battery time.

If the sender could a even more dumb down device for
TDDs and TTYs calls. That could be marketable and enispensive to support. Using Exchange Push Peek could proxy TDDs and TTYs calls to the privided number. What would this need:
- Updated / Custom Firmware
- Real Time E-Mail Based TDDs and TTYs Proxy Serives
- Braille KeysWhat are TDDs and TTYs?
Telecommunications Devices for the Deaf (TDDs) and Teletypewriters (TTYs) are nearly interchangeable terms to describe the terminal devices used widely by deaf people for text communication over telephone lines.
TDD and TTY devices are usually the size of a small laptop with a keyboard and small screen, which typically only displays one line of text. Often, a small printer is attached to the devices for making transcripts of terminal sessions. As technology advances, TDDs and TTYs are being replaced by Internet services, such as email and instant messaging. AS a side note; TTY users could make emergency 911 calls with a peek.

Outlook Web Access as a portal needs to beccess only via OWA. However, they have modified the "look" of the login screen, and have defeated your ability to access. The module in Ubuntu Evolution works perfectly. Perhaps this model would improve PEEK support for OWA and allow for improved use for business users.

Include a way to cancel service online, without calling.

I would like 802.11 support so the Peek could be used via wifi. SD cards would be cool too.

Create an "Alert Schedule" in "Peek Manager > Sounds & Alerts" menu to allow the user to creat silent times for alerts and / or to select Silent Mode (even better if this was on the root menu). Great for school and times to wind down (sleep).

This feature will allow subscribers to send an invitation to a friend’s address to learn about the Peek (device) service. This would allow Peek (company) to track and offer referral credit. Managing your referrals in the My Account (Web) and / or send them from the Peek with just the e-mail address would be a plus.
Credit Criteria: Subscription is made from an invitation and a monthly subscription is completed or an invitation can be sent within 30 days after a friend's monthly subscription is completed (by phone) to allow credit to the sender whom spread the good word by 'word of mouth'.
Example "Sign Me Up or Just Got My Peek, Thanks!" link.

Right now with the wheel scroll it registers one up or down click per a tick depending on the direction.I propose that you be able to adjust the number of ticks with the speed you scroll the wheel and / or adjust how quickly it speeds up or down by allowing the end user to set this in the configuration manager (Peek Manager).

People can submit them to a GetPeek Theme site to have a specialy crafted e-mail with a PNG attachment to apply as a theme. This would allow end users to "develop" themes. It is fun and brings traffic. See Trillian and WinAmp communities for an example.

Allowing owners to choose how e-mails are viewed. Only down fall is the amount of bandwidth could go up. The way it is now adults can communicate with their children without them treating the Peek like SMS. Thread mode is better at times; depending on the need. It cas its pros and cons.
-

Prevents children from reseting or re-configuring the Peek without the adult 's knowlage. For examle an adult could set the unlock code, configuration code, and active e-mail accounts. This would prevent a child from locking the adult out or adding e-mail to the device. Great marketing add-on.

Many companies using Exchange 2007 opt to use Activesync over Direct push. Please add this to the supported e-mail protocals.
Windows Mobile 6.1 includes improvements to the synchronization process. With Windows Mobile 6.1, the concept of "parking a request" remains. However, Windows Mobile 6.1 supports Exchange ActiveSync version 12.1. Exchange ActiveSync 12.1 supports parking the actual synchronization request, not only the ping request. Therefore, if new content arrives within the configured time limit, the HTTP response to the synchronization request will contain content. This behavior speeds content transfer and helps extend battery life on the device.

Please change the edit contact form so it doesn't require me to put in an email address when I put in a phone number to send text messages to someone. I don't like having to make up a fake email address when I have someone's phone number but not their email address.

This feature will scroll the abbreviated subject, sender, contact details, etc when they do not fit in view.

I'd love a peek pronto with a low end cell-phone style camera. Still shots a must, video would be nice. Best if there's a default email address all photos/videos are sent to immediately that way all the photos can be kept elsewhere instead of directly on the pronto (no need to expand memory). Although SD card interfaces (or micro sd) can fit nicely, but bump up costs.

I was really disappointed that the Twitter functionality was developed for a whole new device rather than being added to existing devices as a software upgrade. We could at least have the "update my status" feature work with Twitter.
-
23.
One of the main features advertised for the Peek Pronto is text messaging but it doesn't always work as expected because the Peek doesn't have a phone number, so before someone can text you, you have to text them. I'd like a *real* phone number for my Peek that I can give to people to send text messages to.

The Peek community board server often returns blank white pages or a "Error 500 Internal Server Error," which usually indicates the board has not been allocated enough resources to handle the number of requests being made. Please increase the resources available to PHP/MySQL on the server so it doesn't error out on attempts to load pages.

I think more useful features should be implemented via menus that are hidden by default. This would allow people who want to use the Peek as a basic email only device to get what they want and facilitate the needs of more advanced users. You could have it so, for example, typing a secret code into the Reset box would cause the Peek to reset and display the new menu options for calendar, advanced email account settings, etc.
