Back button is too close to scroll wheel

I often find myself hitting the back key when trying to use the scroll wheel. Can they be spaced further apart in a future version of the Peek? Please???

Zoom for photos and PDF documents

We REALLY need a zoom for images!! It's great that I can open a PDF on my Peek, but I don't have a clue what it says! I get orders all day from customers and like to preview them, but I have to still take out my laptop to view them.

Same with images - maps@askpeek.com images look great on my computer, but are utterly useless on the Peek due to lack of zoom function.

    But I LOVE my Peek!

Add a "My Notes" feature to Peek

I use my Peek all the time to send myself notes. It would be really handy to have it run more quickly like this:

    1. Press the scroll wheel

    2. Select a new second option called "My Notes"

    3. Click that option - my main email address is auto selected as the "send to"

    4. New message opens with "My Note #xx" in the subject line - # increments all day and resets the next day so my notes are sequenced

    5. Cursor automatically jumps to the message text area to then be typed in

    6. Hit "send"

That would allow us to write a note to ourselves with only 2 clicks of the scroll wheel!

    FACEBOOK Responses

Love my Peek, but it would be wonderful if I am able to respond to my friends on Facebook using my Peek. Any word or comment if this will ever happen in the very near future? Granted, it's a wonderful price (not like a Blackberry) but since we can text to messages received, why not have the ability of doing same on Peek?

Would be a wonderful Perk for Peek!!! :--)

Peek Pronto UI - Multiple Email Select and Delete

Ok, this is going to sound like a silly request, but here goes.

When I select say, 5 emails, on my Pronto, and press enter, I can start reading those emails and deleting the ones I don't want to keep. If I delete those 5 that I selected (each delete goes to next msg), I will see another msg that I did not select in "Read Mode". I would think that after the 5, I should go back to the email listings and not open another msg.

Like I said, silly UI thing and totally a non-bug!f

    Change handling of REPLY-TO

The Peek needs to reply to the REPLY-TO address, not the FROM address when replying to en email. The current functionality breaks Facebook notification replying and several other services I use. This should be a trivial change server-side without a new version roll out to the installed base.

    Application for Diabetics

My 11 year old daughter has diabetes. We are always looking for ways to better track her blood sugars and diet. There are plenty of apps for the iphone etc. I am not buying her an iphone. A simple app with fields for blood sugar levels, amount of carbs consumed and amount of insulin taken should be easy to do maybe even ad a couple more fields but these would be the minimum and then have the data posted to a site like www.projectdiabetes.com

    Mail folders and filtering

    1. We need user defined mail folders. Users should be able to assign each email account to a default folder, so mail is automatically sorted as it arrives.

    2. Mail filtering. Filter mail to folders based on keywords in subject/from lines, perhaps even the body.

    3. A calculator with unit conversions and perhaps even simple financial functions (so I can use it for work while on the go).

    4. Memo pad. Let me jot down memos rather than forcing me to email myself when I want to remember something. I suspect you could figure out a way to store them in the current message database without too much trouble. Needs user defined folders. ;)

    rollerball

What about a rollerball for the PEEK instead of the scroll wheel?? That would be so much easier.

Download more than 12k of email message

Let peek user continue to download email after 12k, rather than displaying email to large message. It seems that the entire 12k is not downloaded initially, so why not just allow the user to use scrollwheel or space bar to move further into the email and [retrevie] more data, rather than stopping at 12k?

    New additions to Peek

Peek needs to add the following to make it more convinient:

    1. Calendar
    2. Calculator
    3. Address Book where you can just put a phone number and address if you want, you dont have to put an email.
    3. Get Facebook emails
    4. We should be able to get larger email sizes, i just received an email today and wasnt able to view it because the message was too big!!
    5. Alarm Clock
    6. Memo Pads or Note Pads
    7. The sound alerts need to be louder, or at least we should be able to choose a volume setting that enables us to choose a louder setting.
    8. Longer battery life
    9. We should be able to text those 5 number texts, i was trying to do it for the twitter phone and couldnt do it because of that. It told me that i had to text them at 40404 and text them start. and that never happened. If anybody knows how to do that, please email me at gomez9144@yahoo.com
    10. You should be able to view email accounts seperatlely not all joint together.
    11. The Peek should be able to play videos that gets sent to you via email with the sounds.
    12. The Peek should have arrow buttons so you dont have to use the scroll wheel all the time. It would be easier to use an an arrow key if you need to move to the left 3 or 4 spaces, instead you have to hold on to shift and press the scroll wheel.

There are soo many minor things that could be done to change some simple things around that would make Peek so much better and would make people want to buy and get the Peek. A major draw back of the Peek, believe it or not is not having the essentials, which are: NO CALENDAR ( where you could make your appointments and dates and events and add alerts), NO ADDRESS BOOK, NO CALCULATOR, NO NOTE PAD. These are just simple things..... I have an itouch and i have these apps and i absolutely love them, and i keep telling myself that if Peek had just those essential things, it would be almost perfect. I think that it would attract more people into buying the Peek. They are all offline things.

    Active/Inactive email account

Needs a function to turn on and off email account checking without deleting the account information. For instance if I don't want to check a particular account while I am on vacation, but I can re-activate it quickly without re-entering all of the settings.

    need spam menu

I don't know about anyone else, but I check my spam folder daily. Emails from people whom i just emailed, and they aren't in my contacts go to the spam folder. The peek, however doesn't have a spam option. It seemed like I was using my PC more than the peek for this usage.

TwitterPeek -- start at the top!

I'd like the TwitterPeek to have an option to "sort newest to oldest" instead of making me have to scroll up 50 times if I have been away from TwitterPeek for a while and return to it. I'm far more likely to want to search from "newest tweet" and find the last one I saw as compared to scrolling up through hours of tweets. You could even reduce loads that way. Only load tweets as far back as I scroll down when I return to TwitterPeek.

    easier to use

received this as xmas gift - after about an hour of toying with it figured out most everything - would rather be able to figure it out straight of the box - maybe with even some sort of "tutorial" app or video that runs the first time you turn it on/set it up.

That would helps loads - (explains keyboard shortcuts and things) - I couldnt even find those anywhere in the manual - had to look it up online after I accidentally pressed a key and it did something.
